 Story:

From family albums of Bonedi barir pujo, we had always seen predominance of Red bordered Garad sarees during Thakur-Boron or the final farewell. However we were deeply awed by some of the coloured borders too. This Teal Blue bordered Gorod saree woven in Murshidabad was a perfect choice for Thakur Bawron. Handwoven in mulberry silk, there are paisleys lining the border and beautiful zari motifs all over. The pallu is gorgeous with big florals and paisleys. This saree is a typical Gorod with an unsual coloured border.
